truly surprised by the spectrum of scenes when I moved from the canyons up onto the beach
and a false containment I gave it away just as long as the forms keep changing the hallowed gleam in kinetic wonder
said we saw through the fog and it looked like a billion suns
same as the seven sirens finally throwing a line

look into the face of your long lost symbol of home
gambled on a place and hoped for communion
wander empty alleys and the sign says leave it alone
