An Arrow Unseen
02:30
|
|||
An arrow unseen wound the clocks too tight
above the bed there's a portal's eye
between the scenes all set up in the mind
an arrow unseen wound the clocks too tight
all tangled up inside
old systems, old resistance
fairness, truth, respect, love, honor
seeds of peace growing upside down
screen obscene and the siren sound
In the night way down low where the factions fight
an arrow unseen wound the clocks too tight
all tangled up inside and they're fighting all the time
old systems, old resistance
fairness, truth, respect, love, honor

Auspicious Takes
03:32
|
|||
A loose analog arcade on a holiday alone
cave bones and violets the fragrance it stays close to somewhere
through distant homes where every hour it speeds to the dawn
and the blue fly lines up the log scene -- can I fade in, I'm stuck in the station
with a newsprint fire to find - so we take off the lone masks
and the soothing warm will it stays free - can I dig up the view from the far field
when the sounds take shape in the night - auspicious takes and they're growing too
You left off on a good place where we flow ways unknown
somehow the lost legs return and we learn record numbers
soon take a slow wave find the flower in weeds on the lawn
(Kyleen in the red room)

Commonplace

Commonplace
Turn the lights off exit through the bedroom
you get away in the long cold night looking for a fight
you get away but you wanted to stay you get away
you can't fathom these patterns and then you fall right into your own
engage it don't fake it be patient
and then you fall right into your own well and through a common place
and you fall into a common place...a forgotten phase that you know
with your eyes closed saw the walls beyond you you get away in the long cold night just looking for a fight you get away but you wanted to stay you get away
you can't fathom these patterns and then you fall right into your own
engage it don't fake it be patient
and then you fall right into your own well and through a common place
and you fall into a common place a forgotten phase that you know

Be Kind to Your Mind
02:55
|
|||
Be kind to your mind
Off to the races, greyhounds of stasis howl in the great unknown
far from the ears of all the obscure and bold
this is the soundbyte: light on the inside
open your eyes we're gliding above the below you know
make this place that you find more refined
take this time to be kind to your mind
causal highways, time's not sideways
what makes the cables hum
here we go down below, places of relation
helping all the waves to roll, oooh they're turning gold
put this key in your mind and you're fine
make this place that you find more refined
take this time to be kind to your mind x2
(mind rattles)
repeat chorus

First for Real
02:08
|

First for Real
Cool and hot crust covered heals
back when the old winds blew out the seals
and you dig and you dig
you dig the relics out the first for real
you dig the relics out the first for real
and when the papers grow all covered in dust
and so the old is new right under the rust
you dig the relics out the first for real
you dig the relics out the first for real
the exclamation point points under the hill
you dig the relics out the first for real
when you find it will you know
the strength of your motion can take off away for real

Dig up the Mounds
02:58

Dig up the Mounds
Nowhere to go, stuck with the flames of I've been here before
talking to doors, open up please I have waited for ages
what is this for, an obstacle course designed by sadists and whores
crawl on all fours, hoping to find the end of the tunnel
calling out to the responsible parties
delivering unto the unreachable darlings
seeking the heat of a portion of paradise found
now that you've gone rang and I sang you're only as good as your eyes
gazing outside, what do they see there upon the horizon
we could be real, use the day's impatience to foster the feel
searing the deal, the shadow blends into the cool evening air
it's unfair
calling out to the responsible parties
delivering unto the unreachable darlings
seeking the heat of a portion of paradise found
Dig up the mounds

Velvet Cup

Velvet Cup
We’re under new stars tonight; we’ll stroll for a spell in the blue moonlight
and though I’ve said it before I adore you, I’ll bore you, but I hear myself say three words again, oh I cherish this time we spend
ooooooh baby, ooooooh holding a velvet cup
Let’s take in the scene awhile; we’ll stare through the fog toward distant lights held up in the arms of graciousness patiently changing the stage while we're out in the tide and unmoored, adrift on love’s sweet and tender course
ooooooh baby, ooooooh holding a velvet cup
ooooooh baby, ooooooh and you’re holding a velvet cup

Rhythm of Stars

Rhythm of Stars
Just past the wall, in a formless frame
photon receivers fill the fountains for a new day
a hyper-scopic view, a you zoo review
elemental meaning in terms of what has always been true
countless points in a milky abandon
gazing up at a shower of photons in love
you've the rhythm of stars
you, yeah you, you've the rhythm of stars
here's your finding song, here's your golden flame
take a breath of reason, and ride a raven's wing to owl cave
the inner far beyond, your finger's magic wand
the overwhelming feeling of full immersion in the always
countless points in a milky abandon
gazing up at a shower of photons in love
you've the rhythm of stars
you, yeah you, you've the rhythm of stars
*breakdown into mystery lyrics*
you've the rhythm of stars
you, yeah you, you've the rhythm of stars

Stay Home

Stay Home
Stay home, take a breath and stay home, so I decided to stay home, away from trouble, stay home, wait for your friends
statements retracing oh was I mistaken my mind slips a beat in the pause
it set the stage but my mic was distorted, it's coming back
too bad, events and the thoughts and the feeling was falling, should have, my words full of flaws didn't say what I wanted
it put this bruise on my brain, I'm looking back through a passage to times where I said what I meant and meant what I said and I came back intact
who's there, my words full of flaws didn't say what I wanted
who cares, my mind is aligned with the fate of the mother
Stay home, take a breath and stay home, so I decided to stay home, away from trouble, stay home, wait for your friends
it put this bruise on my brain, I'm looking back through a passage to times where I said what I meant and meant what I said and I came back intact
who's there, my words full of flaws didn't say what I wanted
who cares, my mind is aligned with the fate of the mother

Northside Rebellion

Northside Rebellion
A summer scene at the Northside rebellion in greens
and in the background a glimpse of renewal indeed
we're coming back at night attuned to the sound
the only thing that could keep is down is our minds
we see through the dark shadow they cast
looking forward and letting go of the past
we found a source of the brightest light we can know
and now it moves with us wherever we go
giving the process time
straight through the stratosphere out of the atmosphere
pulling the self in line shake up the status quo reclaim the world we know
the fake parade showing off for a nation in grief
behind the door there's a deal made in death for greed
and through the long days and nights of our lives
we can reject the distortion and open our minds
giving the process time
straight through the stratosphere out of the atmosphere
pulling the self in line shake up the status quo reclaim the world we know
let inhibition go I want to see it through no matter what they do
let information flow open the channel wide fight on for those who've died
northside rebellion, a summer scene is all you get
(repeat)

Snow At Night
Poem by Peter Sears "Snow At Night" from Orion. Copyright © 1997 by Peter Sears.
I go so far away that from there I can hear
myself talking to someone and an echo like
when you turn away from a river and you can't tell
if it's the river right then or a sound
of the river echoing through you. I want
to go there and watch in the eddies near shore
the caught sticks turning, popping back,
then turning again, as if they would break in two
to shake free. I'm like snow at night in a field.
Most of the time you can't see it; then it glistens.
